The story takes place in the city of Sunny Hills, a city devoid of both sun and hills. It's a city wrought with crime, corruption, gang warfare, an economic recession, and litter. Money is tight and everyone is doing what they need to, to survive.
This is the story of Drystan Striker and his girlfriend, Liza Lambert; two down and out bad asses. The two wake up one morning to find that the rent is passed due and bills are piling up. Worst of all, there is no food in the entire apartment. Drystan must leave on a quest for his local grocery store and brave the dangers of BLOODY HILLS: corrupt police, yakuza school girls, metro sexual fashion elitists, disgruntled garbage men, and angry landlords. Each group is out for respect and money.
This is the story of MFS. A city where all its inhabitants, no matter how frail, are always up for a good fight!

Drystan was born and raised in a large family and always had to compete with his brothers over everything, even eating dinner. Drystan would eat more food than anyone in his family just so he could deny his siblings the satisfaction of taking that last piece of chicken or last scoop of potatoes. He was especially competitive at the family's only board game, Battleship. He was a master at it using his own "Striker" strategy. When his younger brothers begged him to try something new, Drystan took their challenge and he tried unsuccessfully to win by placing every ship in a tight square formation. After this, he concluded that people who give you advice generally try to trick you into becoming weaker, so he began to trust only in his own judgment.
His lack of trust in other people forced him to rely on his own opinion about any given situation, which in most cases would get him killed. Ironically, it is only because of his family members and close friends that he is led in the right direction. His lack of trust in people and his stubbornness made him a social outcast. But he didn't mind since he is doing things his own way, it only made sense to him that no one else would be doing what he is doing.

Liza is a down-to-earth girl who is working her way through college and living on her own, (well, with Drystan). She was always independent and never wants to be held down by anyone. People always ask her why she's dating Drystan. Most people say that she is just a rebel and like tough guys and outcasts, but that's not entirely true. She was attracted to Drystan's naive charm and he never gets in the way of her studying of fashion design or her goals in general. She only wishes that he would listen to her demands to get a new jacket. She can't even count the number of jackets that she had designed for him that he has turned down; she takes his attitude as a challenge to make a perfect jacket for him.

As a young girl, she was always seeking her father's attention, but would never be recognized because Gang was always too busy working. She used to get good grades and do well in sports, but nothing got his attention. Desperate for her father's attention, she would force her sitter, Kang to sneak her into her father's organization so she could observe him as he worked. She learned a lot about running a criminal organization from her father and soon put her knowledge into practice.
When she got into high school, she realized that the only way to get her father's attention was to form a gang herself and overthrow her own father's organization. But all of her efforts to gain her father's attention made her want attention from everyone. She would always wear the shortest skirt and would earn the recognition and respect from everyone in school from the principal to the janitor. Now in her senior year, she has the entire school at her back and she is finally ready to face off with her father's branch of the Triads.

She is the second in command of Ling's gang and for good reason. Her fighting skills are among the best, second only to Ling herself. Perhaps she could beat Ling in a fight if she wasn't so concerned about breaking a nail or getting her clothes dirty. As long as she is looking her best, she is happy, but beware if anything were to happen to her fashionable attire. Any minute scratch, tear or stain will cause her to go completely ballistic and she wouldn't care if her outfit were torn to rags if it meant that she could take her vengeance on the wretched defiler.

He is Drystan's landlord who never maintains the building, but always collects rent on time; except with Drystan. Every confrontation with him has resulted in him getting hurt and most of the time he never remembers what happened. His notoriously bad memory makes him almost completely dysfunctional. If something doesn't have to do with sex or money, he doesn't have enough interest in it to remember it.
